Ms. Pushpalatha M | Head Clinical & Quality Training

Pushpalatha spent 11 years in nursing while simultaneously pursuing and completing her MBA in Hospital Management. She started her career as a staff nurse and worked her way up to Head of Nursing in Tasakthaa Global Hospital in Tanzania, Africa. She has worked in hospitals like Global Health City and Fortis Hospital in Chennai, BMH Hospitals in Mysore, and PSRI Hospitals in New Delhi.

Once Pushpalatha entered the operations side of healthcare, her astute hospital operations management skills were noticed and rewarded. She worked as a quality consultant in a 120-bedded single speciality hospital, after which she spent a few months working in Jumuia Hospital and Karen Hospital in Kenya, Africa, as Clinical Trainer in Nursing & Quality.

A few of her accomplishments in Kenya were; she performed a Gap analysis to study the hospital structure, processes and outcome measures, developed nursing manpower planning strategies, organised training and development programs, implemented the 5S methodology, conducted SWOT analysis, and conducted service and quality audits. After her stint in Africa she worked as a Quality Head in a single speciality hospital.
